Ilman Irawan is an intelligent and hard-headed 19-year-old 3rd semester Indonesian college student. He is enrolled in Padjajaran University (Unpad) as a Mathematics student. A first child of three children, he is notable for being talented in mathematics. His parents originally intended him to enter Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), but instead he got in Unpad. Despite his major and natural talent, he isn’t passionate on mathematics. He only majored in mathematics because he felt that his family would want him majoring mathematics.
His hobby is playing racket sports such as badminton, tennis, and his personal favorite, table tennis. He loves table tennis so much that he feels he could get a source of income by being a good table tennis player. He want to be a table tennis athlete because his grandfather used to be a talented table tennis player. Following his passion, he become the best table tennis player in his village. He felt that he is unstoppable in his path to become table tennis athlete. He believe that soon, he will become the best table tennis player in Indonesia.
While his parents approve of his choice of career, his siblings didn’t approve. They felt that being a table tennis athlete would not be a steady source of income. They felt that Ilman should stick to what he’s good at, which is studying Mathematics and be a mathematician professor. His friend also look down on table tennis, deemed it to be “inferior” to tennis or badminton. He is confident that one day, he would become a talented table tennis athlete. He believe that someday, he will convince his family and friend that table tennis is an amazing racket sport and a steady source of income. He believe he could show them.
