FLY
This story we have, baby, It started out pretty strange, oh pretty strange, don’t you think?
It starts from our little talks, it opens up a new page, a rollercoaster of our feelings

As time goes by it starts to feel alive
I’ve never been like this, it’s been a while

Those smiles on your face
The laugh that you gave
Please don’t give too much
I don’t think I could handle

This feeling I have
It feels like a plague
Those things stuck on my mind

Please fly
Fly…
To my arms.

Oh you are my ground control, as I am your Major Tom, oh you keep me, stays afloat
You have probably seen it all, sometimes I wish you were here, with me, in this boat

As time goes by it starts to feel alive
I’ve never been like this, it’s been a while

The butterflies, they play
They won’t go away
Will it gone someday
I don’t know I cannot say

But please if you feel
the same way I feel
let’s put this together

Just fly
Fly..
To my arms..
To my arms..
To my arms

WALKING
After all we have been through
It makes it hard for you
To decide what’s best for us
Easy love, it all will pass

You hope that it will come back all naturally
will it be afterall?

You said it’s all wrong
But no you’re lying
You said it’s all gone
So now I’m walking away from you
You said tomorrow
So now I’m walking

Hoo oh oh oh
hoo oh oh oh
hoo oh oh oh
hoo oh oh oh

You said it’s all wrong
But no, you’re lying
You said it’s all gone
So now I’m walking away from you
You said it’s all wrong
But no, you’re lying
You said tomorrow
So now I’m trying

REMAINS UNTITLED
People carry on, when there’s a lot of love around
but I’m just sitting here watching you bright
Writing simple songs, sing the song for you
I just kept thinking that I’m not wrong

For keeping loving you this much
It’s not a waste nor a mistake

This is what you’ll get
For waiting long enough
But got nothing on comeback

No matter how far that I go
No matter how fast that I run
You’re still unreachable
It’s hard to reach you

Can you see me?
Can you feel me?
This love has really drive me crazy

But I don’t give up
Didn’t walk just yet
I keep on running
And start to sprint
I’ve done some proving
This love is real

So let me share this love I have
Make you notice that I’m here
Treasure all the time we have here

From sky to stars
Above the line
Flying up high before your eyes
I’ve done some proving
This love is real

But I don’t give up
Didn’t walk just yet
I keep on running
And start to sprint
I’ve done some proving
This love is real

First of all I’d like to tell to you guys who are willing to listen to my songs, the first and the second song was recorded with a smartphone due to lack of the right properties and time. I hope you guys be really considerate. But the third song is recorded professionally, so it’s okay :D
And second of all, I’m really, really really bad at choosing titles. So once again, please be considerate :D

Thank you for Mr. Fernanda Gunsan, the mighty sound engineer that guides me by phone.
Thank you to Mr. Alfi Ramadhan for lending me your smartphone.
Thank you Bu Erika, Bu Rima, It has been a very exciting semester. please don’t stop this method haha.
And of course, thank you God, for all of my senses. You’re cool.

Those are great songs. Just so you know, in your second song, “Fly”, I and my friend could sing along even in the first playing, since it is easy listening. The lyrics are simple but your wording is always catchy. Besides, the instrument you play on “Fly” builds a certain kind of character to this song which makes this song enjoyable from the start to the end. Furthermore, this song would be perfect if you sing with a good control of the pitch, particularly in some high tones, because it is this song’s kick.

The third song, “Remains Untitled”, is the best of others. Besides you recorded it professionally, the song itself also sounds like created by a professional songwriter. It relates me with some of Phil Collins’ music. In spite of your imperfection in singing the songs and my little disinterest in the genre, I really enjoy your songs.

Oh god yes, I know, I’m so far from good at high notes and falsetto. But I’ve been trying and learning how to do so. And if you want to, you can teach me hahahaha. And wow, thank youuu, that’s so nice of you to say that. I got your notes, I hope I can be better in the future :D

I would say that I am in love with these three songs of yours. The music is very enjoyable and the lyrics in each song are simply beautiful. One of my favorite lines would be the one in “Fly” which is “Oh you are my ground control, as I am your Major Tom, oh you keep me, stays afloat”. Wow, I think the analogy is really sweet. Aside from that line, I personally like the third song the most, it sounds very pleasing in my ears (regardless of what you said that you had recorded it professionally). Unfortunately, you’ve got some grammar errors in the song such as “I just kept thinking that I’m not wrong” and “This love has really drive me crazy”. But then again, even professional song writers don’t really pay attention to grammar so I guess that shouldn’t be a big problem.

    • Hello Tasha! thank you for spending your time to write your comment here!

It pleases me too that you like my songs, But I’m sorry that you have to listen to my raw voice in my first and second song hahaha. By the way, Half of the praise goes to Mr. Bowie because the “Major Tom and Ground Control” thingy is actually a reference to his song, Space Oddity and I put a little story in it (and that song gave a very big deal of inspiration to this trilogy). Yeah I know, I made the third song at the end of my high school life, and that’s why there are a lot of grammar errors. But I’ve decided not to change it as a way to respect my old brain hahahah. Anyway, thank you so much Tasha!

“Remains Untitled” is my favorite one. Not only it is professionally recorded, but also this song is up and drops off my emotion in striking way. It is for the reason that the lyrics of the song and the music blends perfectly. The dynamics in each part of the song have effectively built up the emotion of the lyrics from the strumming of the guitar in the first verses of the song, until the distortion of the guitar that is mixed up with other musical instruments in the last song parts. The way you sing the song also shows the sincerity in ‘I’ to not giving up in fight for his love to ‘you’.

Great work, Bahman, and The Schuberts too!

Hahah I’m glad that it can move your feelings. Because as how a famous saying says, “A good work is a work that can moves people heart and feeling.” and thank you for noticing the music shifts! Also, that is the point, right? We don’t give up the people we love heheheh. You better not to ;)

I, somehow, think that the three songs of yours can be turned into a story. I find the first song, “Fly”, as the introduction of the story, being followed by the second song, “Walking”, as the climax when problems start to appear. And then, last but not least, the third song, “Remains Untitled”, plays the role as the anti-climax. I don’t know whether this is your purpose or just some explicit revelation I got. But, for me, the most ‘complete’ song is “Walking”, because it has its own introduction (when the condition is getting hard), climax (when the other character tells lies to the narrator), and anti-climax (when the narrator walks away).

    • You’re absolutely right, Evita! that is exactly these songs are. That’s why I don’t put summary in this post purposely so that someone can notice it, and you are my saviour! Great analysis! hahahah. And yeah, thank you, just for your information, the hardest part of making these songs is putting the right lyrics in it, and “Walking” is the hardest one, so your comment relieved me hehe. Thank you once again!
